We have been overwhelmed by the wonderful feedback that we have received over the last several months. So many people have a burning desire to work at home and make real money. We are excited to know that this site is helping some people realize that dream. Roy sent us this note to let us know how the site has worked for him.  It sounds like he is doing great!

Allow me to introduce myself, I am 31 years old and lost my engineering job of 12 years due to a management change and lay-off in the San Fransisco Bay Area earlier this May.  I have always been an entrepreneur and wanted to have my own successful business. I have tried to start 4 other businesses that all failed because they were concepts that needed a lot more start up capital then I had available to sustain them and get them off the ground.  Before I left my last job I made a promise to myself that it would be the last time I worked for company other than my own. One month ago I was getting close to my wits end, watching my life savings dwindle, and starting to think that I might not be able to keep that promise and that I would eventually have to go back to work for the man. Then while living off remainder of my savings and desperately searching for something that would sustain me, pay the bills and allow me to keep that promise to myself while also doing something that I love, is environmentally sound, and starting my own business, I (by way of some miracle) stumbled across your web page. Even now, when I think about just how I stumbled upon it, I find it nothing short of AMAZING! I found you guys in a google search but I retraced my steps and don’t quite know how the keywords I typed in lead me to you?

I’m agnostic, but now for the first time in my life, I can truly say that I believe in miracles!

The last month has been a very interesting adventure and a true source of enlightenment for me.  I can see the light at the end of the tunnel now.  You’ve introduced me to something I love and have always been crazy about while at the same time opening the door to one of my entrepreneurial dreams of someday owning my own bookstore.  While I may never go “Brick & Mortar” I can see the potential for great expansion and using on-line book-selling as a way to eventually fund some of my other dreams and inventions someday!

So far, since August 18th when I started, I’ve sold 83… Oh wait, 84 books (I just got a message on my cell phone from amazon payments again while typing this) and by using some of the services you recommended, first Scout-Pal, then along with NeatoScan, I’ve aggressively acquired 500+ books and currently have 238 listed in my Amazon inventory!

Its a lot of work and extremely competitive scouting in my region, but I can see the pay off ahead if I keep it up.  The thrift stores in my area are talking about getting their own scanners and doing the same thing themselves (since they see so many customers doing it), so I am going as fast as I can to pour a good foundation before it gets tougher to acquire inventory at reasonable prices. Plus I’m educating myself on the older and collectible books (the ones the thrift store can’t scan) as recommended, to give me a further edge of survival.

Overall, what matters most is that finding the information you posted on your site and by me giving it a good try, you have restored my hope that I can prosper independently working for myself and will be better off than working for “The Man”!

Once again, Thank You So Much for sharing the on-line book-selling information! Even though I worry it will make things more competitive for all of us in the future, its been an absolute lifesaver and miracle for me to stumble upon it!
